Roberts also serves as the Wales national team goalkeeping coach and King has been called up on multiple occasions but is still waiting for a first cap.
King is now set to join Wolves and will offer cover for Jose Sa and Daniel Bentley moving forward, potentially paving the way for Matija Sarkic to move on.

King was born in Plymouth but actually started his playing career over in Gibraltar with Manchester United, now known as Manchester 62.
King does actually qualify for Gibraltar on the international stage and may be can be tempted to switch allegiance if a Wales cap doesn’t arrive.
King was snapped up by Portsmouth as a teenager before catching Crystal Palace’s eye, staying there until 2014.
South London rivals Millwall then pounced for King, but he spent most of his time out on loan with Welling United, Braintree Town, Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon.
King made just 19 appearances for Millwall and moved on for good in 2019, securing a move to Newport County.
King made headlines by scoring for Newport against Cheltenham as a long goal kick took a rapid bounce and flew into the net.
Gary Neville’s Salford City came calling in 2021 but he was eventually dropped for Alex Cairns and was allowed to join Northampton Town in January.
A six-month deal there is now over and King is able to move on, with Wolves seeing him as homegrown cover between the sticks.
