The National Social Safety-Nets Coordinating Office (NASSCO) has re-emphasised that Rapid Response Register (RRR) is not ending soon.
This was contained in a memo made available on their official Twitter handle to dismiss a claim the social Application programme is ending.
An online reporter had announced the end of the application Programme. In a swift response, NASSCO tweeted
The government is scaling up the National Social Safety Nets Project (NASSP) and expanding the Rapid Response Register (RRR) to reach 5 million Urban poor with cash transfers and #SafetyNets. Ignore fake reports claiming the project is ending soon.
