
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has spoken on the collision with Manchester City midfielder, Kelvin Debruyne in their UEFA Champions League match on Saturday night.
In the second half of the match Antonio Rudiger and Debruyne had collided, a situation that made the Belgian to be substituted half way to the second half.
Chelsea however went on to win the emphatic match 1-0 on the night. Debruyne had terrible face owing to the collision and was escorted to the dressing room by Manchester City staff and team Doctors.
On Sunday, Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger however revealed he has reached out to the Manchester City defender over the ugly occurrence on the night.
In a tweets made available on social media, Antonio Rudiger revealed;
I’m really sorry for @DebruyneKev’s injury. Off course this was not intentional from me. I’ve already been in touch with Kelvin personally and I really wish him a speedy recovery and hope we can see him back on the pitch very soon again.
