Shell/NNPC/SPDC Joint Venture University Scholarship – Objective of the Scholarship
The objective of the SPDC joint venture Scholarship programme is to develop Nigeria talent of the future. In furtherance of the objective and to promote academic excellence among young Nigerians particularly those from less privileged background.
Shell invites application from suitably qualified full-time Nigerian students admitted in the 2019/2020 session to apply for SPDC joint venture University awards scholarship.
Shell/NNPC/SPDC Joint Venture University Scholarship – Who Can Apply
The merit based scholarship is in two categories; the national merit awards and the areas of operation merit awards.
. National Merit Awards: This is open to all Nigerian students
. Areas of operation Merit Awards: This is open to all students from SPDC operation or host communities areas in Abia, Bayelsa, Rivers, Imo and Delta States respectively.
Shell/NNPC/SPDC Joint Venture University Scholarship – Eligible Applicants Must
. Such must be a citizens of Nigeria
. Be registered full-time undergraduate pursuing career in an accredited course and approved University in Nigeria.
. Be in 200 level (as at December, 2020) or posses prove of admission into undergraduate programme in the 2019/2020 academic session.

Shell/NNPC/SPDC Joint Venture University Scholarship – Application Instruction
. All intending applicants should have a valid means of identification
. All applicants should have a valid email address for the purpose of correspondence
. Application must be done online via SPDC website
. Applicants for the areas of operation merit awards scholarship are required to provide scanned copies of letters of identification, stamped and signed by government recognised individuals. The individual could be paramount chief or traditional head of community. Also the chairman of the community development committee or the council chairman.
