NG- Cares World Bank Grant Disbursement Date For First BatchNG-Cares Grant – The Federal Government, through the Bank of Industry, Nigeria (BOI) has approved the disbursement of NG Cares Grant in all the 36 state including the FCT for the 1st batch of all the verified applicants.

The World Bank said it has disbursed the sum of N35.3 billion to all the 36 states of the federation and the FCT as an advance payment for the implementation of the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Programme (NG-CARES).
This disclosure was made by the Lead Specialist, World Bank Country Office, Abuja, Mr Foluso Okunmadewa at the 1st Implementation Support Mission for NG-CARES on Tuesday in Ikeja, Lagos.
He noted that the total budget is about 20 million dollars per state and the FCT and a total of 750 million dollars nationwide.
How Much is NG-Cares World Bank Grant?
The World Bank has disbursed the sum of N35.3 billion to all the 36 states of the federation and the FCT. Meaning that each state will receive a total of $20 million.
Each verified applicant will stand a chance to receive the sum of 500,000 naira (which is about $800).

When will NG Cares Grant for the 1st batch Disbursement Date Start?
The NG Cares 1st batch of World Bank Grant through Bank of Industry, Nigeria (BOI) will commence sending text messages to all verified applicant from October 2022, and the disbursement will date follow.

NG Cares disbursement depends on the state coordinator effort of verifying all registered applicant. After verification, State coordinator will send verified individual information to the Bank of industry (BOI), After that, BOI will send a text message with a link to all verified applied. When you get the text message as an applicants, kindly open the link and input the amount required for your business. The disbursement will commence from there.
