Eligible Activities / Maize Student Grant Application

The purpose of the activity may not conflict with the expectations or policies of the Maize School District and may not be political or religious in nature.
Dual credit classes, college tuition, ongoing lessons/classes, and “hobbies” are not eligible for Student Enrichment Grant funding.
COVID-19 Considerations / Maize Student Grant Application
Many things have been different during the pandemic. But that doesn’t mean our students are not still driven to explore their passions, learn about new careers, build leadership skills, and discover their own ways to make an impact on the world.
Even though many activities might be postponed or virtual, we know that our students are hungry for learning and enrichment opportunities, and there are still lots of innovative opportunities out there.
We encourage you to be innovative, think “outside of the box,” or even build your own box! You may not be able to travel, and perhaps there is an online version of that leadership seminar. Maybe you can create your own experience. Make sure to read through our guidelines on the application link, and if you have any questions contact Travis Bloom at email@example.com.
