Fmard Training – Staff Training And Welfare Packages
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Muhammad Mahmood Abubakar has stated that he will support the training and the welfare of the staff of the ministry in order to enhance their performance and increase productivity in the work place. The Minister gave the assurance when he visited the northwest Zonal office complex, Kaduna State of Nigeria.

Dr. Abubakar pointed out the the visit was basically for the staff and management team of the ministry in the northwest zone work in tandem with the federal government focus on overall development of human capacity for enhanced productivity in its effort to achieve good security and job creation for Nigerians.
The Minister urged the staff to always align their duties with Mr President diversification policy in the Agric sector whose main focus includes deliverables including food sufficiency, job creation and economic growth.
Dr. Abubakar further noted that the establishment of the zonal and state offices of the ministry across the country is to provide leadership and policy direction for the successful implementation of the Agricultural programme of the ministry across board.
