Coming to us is the information that the Federal Government has approved the instant disbursement of the Fertilizer Subsidy Fund to smallholder vulnerable farmers in Nigeria.
This means that all the shortlisted farmers have been included in the FMARD’s database in conjunction with the ADP staff, under the AFJP and ESP respectively.

Based on the information provided by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, they have started the payment of the first batch of the Fertilizer Subsidy Grant to qualified AFJP farmers.
This information also showed that those farmers who are without banks accounts or do not have their BVN linked to their bank accounts will have to do that before or on 30th, April 2022.

The aim of this fund is to help small-scale farmers with no capital to be able to get fertilizer in the open market to grow.
