What is Fasaha Gina Mata, Gina Al-umma?
Gina Mata, Gina Al-umma, translated as “Building Women, Empowering Communities”, is a digital skills development programme designed to identify, prepare, and connect disadvantaged girls and young women with emerging skills in the knowledge economy. The programme aims to integrate more females into the gig ecosystem and significantly improve girls’ and women’s economic participation in the digital space.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for the Fasaha Gina Mata, Gina Al-umma pilot launch?
1. Age: Must be between the ages of 18 and 40 years
2. Location: Persons chosen must be Abuja residents and in Abuja for the training.
3. Gender: Only Female Applicants will be accepted
4. Must have basic knowledge of the computer or the use of mobile smartphones.
5. Must be available to attend classes without interruption for the duration of the 2-day training.
How long will NITDA And Fasaha Digital Literacy Development Programme last?
The Gina Mata, Gina Al-umma “Building Women, Empowering Communities” pilot launch is a 2 day digital skills programme where young women will be integrated into the digital eco-system with digital Content Creation skills and E-lancing. The programme also has an affirmative session that will deliver Right based and lifelong learning sessions (Cyber/Online safety, Financial Literacy and Communication Skills) to make our participants globally competitive.
