Confirmed! Achraf Hakimi Move Cost Chelsea £54 Million

Achraf Hakimi move to Chelsea has become a reality following contacts between Chelsea hierachy and Inter-Milan representative.News broke yesterday about a protracted contract discussion over a possible move of Achraf Hakimi from Milan to Chelsea this summer.

The possible transfer of the Moroccan player is on the edge of realisation following successful moves by Chelsea to sanction a £54 million for the 22 years old Moroccan player.

News sources revealed Chelsea have accepted a £54 million in principle for the right back player. The deal could go through in the next 48 hours if things go down well with the two clubs.

News sources revealed that the player have also agreed personal terms with Chelsea with a wage less than £100,000 weekly at Stanford Bridge. Hakimi suddenly become Thomas Tuchel preferred right back during the season.

The Moroccan stared for Milan in their run up to winning the league in 2021. His outstanding displayed attracted European club managers. It’s only Chelsea that have made move for the 22 years old player to switch club to London.

The arrival of Achraf Hakimi means Chelsea will have a strong competition at the right back position when the league resume in August. England Reece James and Ceaser Azpilicueta were the two players that featured prominently for Chelsea last season.

Having a third player at the same position would make competition interesting for the Chelsea team. The arrival could mean Reece James would be drafted to another position while Ceaser Azpilicueta may feature for Chelsea from the bench.

In a similar mood, Chelsea have also entered the race to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund for a club records deal. The player is on several too European club watchlist but Chelsea appears to be going away with his signature.
